Online Video Service Reduces Costs, Saves Time, Improves Counseling and Outreach
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Financial Aid TV, a leading supplier of online video counseling and outreach solutions for college financial aid offices, announced today a new addition to its online network.
Bismarck State College (Bismarck, North Dakota) is the latest school to take advantage of Financial Aid TV's customized online video counseling and outreach solution.
"The Financial Aid TV service is working well for Bismarck State College," said Financial Aid Director Jeff Jacobs. "The service provides the financial aid department with another tool to assist students with applying for financial aid programs. The service also allows our department to connect with students on how to apply for aid when they are not face-to-face with a financial aid advisor, which is a tremendous help to the student."
"Schools are being challenged to do more with less," said Paul Burke, VP of Sales for Financial Aid TV. "Students often times do not read the materials put out by financial aid offices. Our service connects with students in a format that they can relate to, online video."
Financial Aid TV can be used by schools of all types and sizes. "FATV is designed to assist all schools, from traditional brick and mortar institutions to online distant education," said Burke.
Schools are deploying FATV in a variety of ways, including:
- To Increase FA Applications
- To Improve Default Aversion Efforts
- To Improve Customer Service
- To Improve Financial Literacy Efforts
- To Reduce Student Wait Times
- To Reduce Student Phone Calls
- To Expand Counseling Reach
Financial Aid TV (www.financialaidtv.com) is a service of College Media Solutions (CareerAmerica, LLC), an independent publisher of customizable digital solutions for educational institutions.
