New On-Demand Service Streamlines Financial Aid TV for Use on Mobile Devices
BOULDER, CO -- Financial Aid TV (FATV), a leading supplier of online video solutions for college financial aid offices, announced today the launch of its "FATV Mobile" service.
"FATV Mobile" streamlines existing Financial Aid TV features and fits them onto the screen of an iPhone and other smart phones. With the touch of a button, users can access FATV video content on their phones in the same way they can through their laptop or desktop computer.
"FATV Mobile merges the functionality of Financial Aid TV with the convenience of smart phones, such as the iPhone and Palm Pre," said Max Shure, Project Manager at Financial Aid TV.
Shure added: "Students are spending more and more time on their mobile devices, sharing social media content and videos, and we feel this new service intersects gracefully with the lifestyles of these students."
"At the College of Alameda, we have been very happy with Financial Aid TV," said Angelita Finlayson, Financial Aid Supervisor. "The Mobile version expands the visibility and capability of our Financial Aid Office, and helps us connect with students on their mobile phones. We think it's a great resource."
"This latest technological advance gives our school partners an immediate way to connect with students on their mobile devices," said Paul Burke, VP of Sales for Financial Aid TV. "We are pleased to help our school partners communicate their Financial Aid TV service through this powerful and growing medium."
