University of California, Merced Begins 5th Year with Financial Aid TV (FATV)

Online Video Service Improves Student Understanding, Effectiveness of Customer Service, and is a Valuable Tool in Achieving Default Aversion Goals
BOULDER, CO – Financial Aid TV (FATV), a leading supplier of online video solutions for college financial aid offices, announced today a milestone for one of its school partners.
University of California, Merced is beginning its 5th year of using Financial Aid TV’s customized online video counseling and outreach solutions.
“Financial Aid TV has proven to be a great resource for students here at UC Merced.  FATV has allowed us to provide our students access to timely information that is accessible in a 24/7 format. More than a third of students enrolled at UC Merced speak a language other than English in their home.  As a designated Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), we recently adopted FATV’s Spanish internationalization to better serve our students and their families.  We are very excited about this new functionality, and are working to create a marketing campaign to advertise it to our students.
